Shanghai, China - August 30, 2018 - Innova Research won a consulting project to provide strategic advices on how to accelerate the development of industry internet in Kunshan, one of the largest electronics manufacturing centers in China. The project, sponsored by the Kunshan municipal government, aimed to find out the bottlenecks inhibiting the adoption of industry internet with a large number of manufacturing companies in Kunshan and to exam industry internet R&D and innovation resources that are available in Kunshan and other nearby cities such as Shanghai. It was followed by dozens of provincial and municipal governments, who introduced their roadmaps to accelerate the industry internet adoption.
Richard Jun Li, the founder and general manager of Innova Research commented:" In China, it has become a national strategy to use industry internet and the relevant technologies to upgrade the manufacturing industry. While the development of industry internet is still at an early stage in China, the growth potential is large. Market opportunities exist for infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), software as a service (SaaS), industry APP and other relevant hardware and software suppliers in the industry value chain globally."
